Originally delivered on February 12, 2023 to the Anderson Forum for Progressive Theology.
The Anderson Forum for Progressive Theology (AFPT) is a vibrant organization, seeking to keep in touch with current discussions in ecumenical theology, interfaith dialogue, and enduring social and cultural issues.
Our primary goal is to build a community in Anderson that supports thoughtful interaction with contemporary conversations in theology.
Our primary method is a lecture series, usually twice a year, that brings in prominent thinkers, including professors, pastors, and other religious leaders. Each lecture is followed by a time for questions, answers, and conversation. Programs are free and offered for the greater Anderson community and all interested persons.
